FREE Two Step Lesson - We are currently holding Two Step classes and gave a free lesson on October 20. The lesson covered the basics as well as a few moves to get everyone started on the dance floor. We had a great turnout and if you missed it, we will be teaching Two Step for the next couple of weeks so come on out and join us for one of the more popular dances. Our next FREE DANCE LESSON will be a Night Club 2 lesson early next year. Check back here for more information and a coupon to enjoy this very romantic dance. CRISTMAS PARTY - The CWSC held our annual Christmas Party Decemebr 6. We had a great turnout but missed seeing some of you. The food was good and the dancing was great. For the last several years we have been adopting a family and helping through Christmas. This year we adopted a grandmother and her two grandchildren. We had such an outpouring of gifts and money, we were able to get each one of them what they asked for and much more. If you didn't make it we hope to see you next year.
CLUB NIGHT - Due to the recent events at Wild Bill's, we had to switch venues; and, Saturdays for our December 'Club Night'. It was held on the second Saturday of the month, but we will continue to try for the first Saturday of each month. For now; and because of other events in the Atlanta area, if the first Saturday is not possible, we will try to re-schedule to the third Saturday of the month as we have done for January.
We began this event when “Two Steps West” was open many years ago and have continued throughout the years. It has been held at many of the dance locations (past and present) around Atlanta. We have been enjoying dancing at Wild Bill’s in Gwinnett for the last couple of years but due to recent events with that club, we may have to change venues either on a monthly basis or permanently. We will continue to go to Wild Bill's as long as we can and will post any news here that affects Club Night. Keep checking back for more information.
PANAMA CITY - Several club members and 6 guests recently went to Panama City, FL. for our annual "beach trip". This is a club sponsored trip where members get a huge discount on rates for the weekend. Of course, guests also enjoy a discount but one of the advantages of being a member of the club is the additional savings on trips such as this. It was a great trip as usual and we are already in the planning stages for next year. Check out our "Schedule" for information on upcoming events and trips.
